How to Find the Best Street Food at Disneyland Paris

Beignet in the shape of Mickey Mouse head.

Visiting Disneyland Paris should be on everyone’s list at least once. You’ll find a completely different vibe here than at Walt Disney World in Orlando, and in my opinion there are more rides that are suitable for adults to enjoy. Disneyland Paris is busy throughout the year, but one of my favourite times to go is when they’ve put up the Halloween decorations. As well as decorations, you’ll come across lots of villains walking around and the daily parade gets a little makeover too. But what about the food at Disneyland Paris?

Choosing where to eat at Disneyland Paris is a big task, especially if you’re visiting as a family. If you’re planning a solo or couples trip to Disneyland Paris though, you have plenty of options, including the various restaurants at Disneyland Paris and the food trucks. Although we were tempted to book a table at one of the restaurants, upon reading the reviews we came to the conclusion that it would be most cost effective and time saving to eat at the different food trucks around Disneyland Paris.

How to get to Disneyland Paris from Paris

Getting to Disneyland Paris from the centre of Paris couldn’t be easier. For this trip we based ourselves out of the 5th arrondissement. We were able to purchase a ticket on the machine at the metro station that included the price for travelling to Disneyland. We had one easy change and then we took a train directly to the parks. Overall, our journey took just under an hour and there are trains available after midnight to bring you back to Paris if you plan on staying until the parks close.

Food at Disneyland Paris: Parc Walt Disney Studios

Croque McQueen

Ham and cheese toastie food at Disneyland Paris.

The Laugh’N’ Go! food truck is located on the way to the Cars Road Trip attraction. They have some delicious exclusive cupcakes available as well as refreshments. But what most people stop here for is the Croque McQueen. It’s a melted cheese sandwich with cheese from the Laughing Cow and ham inside. The sandwich is priced at €8.50 so it’s not cheap. However, it can be hard to find savoury street food at Disneyland Paris so it’s not a bad option if you’re in this area.

Themed Magnum ice cream

Magnum ice cream topped with Lion King decorations.

At one end of Production Courtyard you’ll find a unique ice cream stand, just before you enter the Avengers Campus. This is where you can choose between three themed Magnum ice creams that each have unique toppings on them. We chose the Lion King version but they also had Toy Story and Frozen ones available. The themed Magnum ice creams are priced at €6.

Tartiflette au Reblochon

Potatoes and cheese dish at Disney.

Dining at Bistro Chez Remy is high on a lot of people’s Disneyland Paris bucket lists. However, it can be difficult to book a table here due to its popularity. A great alternative is to order food from the different food stalls located around the restaurant and the Ratatouille ride. This area is where you’ll find waffles, pretzels, and other tasty treats. We shared the Tartiflette au Reblochon which cost us €7. This dish can be quite filling since it’s made of potatoes, ham, and cheese, so it’s a nice option for a midday snack.

Street Pop Cheesecake

Cheesecake on a stick covered in chocolate.

Some of the best food at Disneyland Paris falls under the desserts category. There are a lot of sweet treats to choose from, but at Parc Walt Disney Studios you need to try the Street Pop Cheesecake. You’ll find this snack at FAN-tastic Food Truck, in the Avengers Campus, and it costs €6. This food stall also sells hot dogs, so I’d recommend avoiding it near lunchtime unless you want to stand in the queue for an hour like we did.

Food at Disneyland Park

Mickey Mouse Pizza

Cheese pizza shaped as Mickey Mouse.

In the evening you may want something a little more substantial for dinner. The Mickey Mouse Pizzas are extremely popular and can be found at various locations around Disneyland Park. Pizzeria Bella Notte is where most people get their pizza from, but it closes at 20:00 so make sure you arrive earlier in the day. We weren’t so lucky, so the pepperoni pizza had to be changed for a four cheese pizza from Colonel Hathi’s Pizza Outpost instead. The pizza isn’t huge either, but for €12 it’s not bad compared to other food at Disneyland Paris. They also have a smaller child’s size pizza available.

Won’ Door’ land Ice Cream

Ice cream with Alice in Wonderland toppings.

The March Hare Refreshments is a must-visit for food at Disneyland Paris. This is where you’ll find a few unique soft serve ice cream options that are themed around Alice in Wonderland. We chose the Won’ Door’ land Ice Cream for €7 which was served in a cone cup rather than a regular cone. The addition of the chocolate brownie pieces was a bonus for me. They also have an ice cream and drinks combo available for €10 which will save you a few cents.

Jalapeno Cheese Bites

A fun quick service restaurant at Disneyland Paris to visit is Casa de Coco. It’s located in Frontierland and has lots of tasty Mexican food on the menu such as burritos and churros. If you’re only looking for something to snack on though, I’d recommend trying the Jalapeno Cheese Bites for €5.50 that are bursting with cheesy goodness and aren’t too hot either.

Mickey Mouse Beignet

Beignet in the shape of Mickey Mouse head.

The Mickey Mouse Beignet is one of the cheapest foods at Disneyland Paris, costing just €4.50. These beignets are shaped like the head of Mickey Mouse and they’re often filled with Nutella or jam. There are a lot of places where you can get these beignets throughout the park. We bought ours from the Cable Car Bake Shop on Main Street so it was a little hectic. Luckily it wasn’t as dry as the online reviews had said so we were happy with our purchase.

Where to stay at Disneyland Paris

Although we chose to stay in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, at Le Vert Galant, you have plenty of options if you want to book a hotel at Disneyland Paris. Here are a few popular options:

Planning a trip to Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris consists of two parks: Parc Walt Disney Studios and Disneyland Park. We purchased a 1-day undated ticket which is valid for a year from the day of booking. This allowed us to visit when it was more suitable for us. The ticket includes entry to both parks which are directly next to each other. However, you need to register online for the day that you plan to visit beforehand in case the parks are full.

Tickets for Disneyland Paris aren’t cheap, so we didn’t pay for the Disney Premier Access pass which lets you skip the line for many of the most popular attractions in the parks. It’s a good idea to plan out what rides you want to go on before you visit so you can see where they’re located on the map. Downloading the Disneyland Paris app will let you see the live waiting times for each ride too, which is great for saving time.
