It’s situated between Seville and Merida, with a history dating back to the Roman period. There aren’t too many things to do in Zafra, but there’s enough to keep you busy for at least half a day!

One of the most impressive and well preserved exam One of the most impressive and well preserved examples of Roman architecture in Spain is the Temple of Diana, located in Merida 🏛️

It was originally used as the main temple of the city but over time it was repurposed as a palace/home until 1972. It’s now a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-see in Extremadura 🇪🇸
