Did you know you can cruise past the Statue of Lib Did you know you can cruise past the Statue of Liberty for free?! 🗽 If you’re not too keen on paying to go to the island itself, the Staten Island Ferry will take you pretty close to the Statue of Liberty - and it’s totally free! 😆 The only downside is that you’ll need to hop on a ferry back to Manhattan, which takes around 25 minutes each way.
