One impressive attraction in Brasov that needs to One impressive attraction in Brasov that needs to be on your list is Catherine’s Gate 👍🏼 This unique gate forms part of the old defensive system of the city and it was built in 1559 to replace an older gate. The Black Church is the second largest church in R The Black Church is the second largest church in Romania, and it’s one of the country’s most beautiful examples of Gothic architecture 🔔 It was built in the 14th century but its name derives from a fire that took place in 1689 when the walls turned black due to the smoke and fire 🔥 Tickets for The Black Church can be purchased from the shop located directly opposite the main entrance. From here you can see the entire layout of Brasov’s old town, with Tampa Mountain as the backdrop.
