The Museum of Contemporary Art, or MOCA, is brimming with several innovative exhibits. They have an interesting exhibit on right now, which is running until late December. Their exhibit covers the fact that 52% of people in Toronto are women, with the museum putting a spotlight on the revolutionaries and rebels who haven’t had their story told until now. There’s also an exhibit that showcases the history of black railway porters in Canada.

This is a digital exhibit that anyone can access, with the whole thing being done in collaboration with Cecil Foster. With the museum hosting a lot of exhibits online, as well as pop-up events that take place around the city, it’s the ideal place to visit if you want to delve into history while ensuring an accessible experience, wherever you are.

MZTV Museum of Television

This museum was founded by Moses Znaimer, a media genius. He had the idea of showcasing some of the most fascinating moments from the history of television. At this museum, you can learn all about TV inventors as well as pioneers. You can also see televisions that were once owned by Marilyn Monroe, as well as Elvis Presley.  If you’re not able to attend the museum in person for whatever reason, then you’ll be glad to know that they also have a full virtual tour available. You can get an adult ticket for $10, with cheaper rates available for seniors and those who have a discount pass.

Even though they have an impressive range of vintage televisions, they also offer engaging experiences. You will find that the museum rotates its exhibits regularly and that it also has several interactive displays. There are also guided tours available, making this a must-see museum for those who have a keen interest in media and the history that has helped to shape our entertainment experiences to this day.

The Royal Ontario Museum is home to an extensive number of educational exhibits. You will also find a huge range of art there, as well as nature collections. It’s the largest museum in Canada and offers three galleries of space which show artefacts that date back to early civilisation. They also have a huge exhibit on Ancient Greece.

Ancient Greece is considered to be home to some of the greatest thinkers in the world, including Herodotus and Euripides. You also have Plato and Socrates. The exhibit shows the development of the Greek world, including the changing landscape of power, wealth, and influence.

Ancient Greece has been a hot topic for quite some time, especially in modern media. Several movies, themed around this period have come out over the years, including The Odyssey, Clash of the Titans, Immortals, and Troy. Gaming has also helped to spur interest in Ancient Greece and the ROM exhibit as a whole. The God of War game was a huge success, but there are also a number of iGaming titles as well. Some of them include the Gates of Olympus slot series and the Amazing Link series. These are some of the top slots Canada residents like to play, with the theme as a whole helping to highlight the global interest that we have in Ancient Greece, while drawing people to the museum.

As you can see, there are numerous museums in Canada that offer a wide range of experiences. Whether you want to find out more about the history of television or whether you want to dive into the history of Ancient Greece, it’s very easy to plan your day around offerings like this. With tickets either being free or very affordable, it’s a great way to pass the day if you are a tourist, or someone looking to explore Ontario.
