To start, choose an affordable hotel such as @staygenerator which is located in the heart of the capital 🛌

For a good variety of cheap but high-quality food and drinks, head over to @unionmarketdc - open late! 👌🏼

And finally, most of the museums in DC are free to enter, and the National Mall is filled with beautiful historic buildings and memorials that are free to look at (though some require tickets to enter) 🎟️

It originally opened in the early 20th century as a replacement for the overcrowded Centre Market. Today it’s a beautiful modern food hall featuring artisan vendors and new culinary trends 🥢

Washington, DC is a great place to visit for a cou Washington, DC is a great place to visit for a couple of days, but the big question is where should you stay? 🤔

During our short trip to the US capital, we stayed at @staygenerator which is ideally located near Embassy Row 👌🏼

This boutique hotel sits right in the centre of the city’s diplomatic life, and there’s easy public transportation access to the main attractins from here too 🙌🏼

There are both shared and private rooms available at @staygenerator Washington, DC but I’d recommend their Deluxe King room which is the most spacious and offers the best views. The decor is also pretty cool! 🛌
